Breakfast Martini

Here's my take on an old classic thought up about ten years ago in London. The breakfast martini uses marmalade to flavor and give visual depth to what's basically a Kamikaze with gin. I've mixed it up by using Hendrick's for the sweeter cucumber flavor and Licor 43 for extra orange flavor and color.

It's a wonderfully light cocktail that goes perfectly with your morning toast and jam.
  • 2 oz Hendrick's Gin
  • 1 oz Triple Sec
  • 1/2 oz Licor 43
  • 1/2 oz Fresh Lemon Juice
  • 1 tbsp of Orange Marmalade
  • Toast Triangles
  • Orange
Chill an up glass with crushed ice and water. Shake the ingredients with ice in a shaker until it sweats. Strain into the glass and garnish with an orange twist and a couple of small toast triangles.
